Circa 1920's - a rare and unusual desk.
We think it's original purpose was as a jeweller's or botanist's desk
Key tag states "Key to Colonel Wolley's Desk"
Made from English Oak the desk is in excellent condition - recently cleaned up.
The desk has a horizontal roll top which is in excellent condition - no rips or tears in the fabric.  Roll top has original lock & key.
Below the roll top is a padded desk top which is raised via the lever shown in the last photo. Padding is also in excellent condition with no rips, tears or stains
There is a cupboard on either side of the desk, each with pull out drawers.
Would make an excellent desk for a jigsaw puzzle enthusiast.
Desk comes apart in 3 pieces for removal - you will need 2 people
Desk measures 1670mm long x 955mm wide x 810mm high
